8 cups popped popcorn (well salted).
3/4 cup brown sugar
6 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda

Add brown sugar, butter and corn syrup to pan.
Bring the mixture to a boil and let it boil for 5 minutes. Do not stir.
Take the mixture off the heat and add the vanilla and baking soda.
Pour caramel over popcorn.
Stir until all the popcorn is covered.
Spread popcorn on a parchment or aluminum foil-lined baking sheet. Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 10 minutes.
Scoop the popcorn into bags (or jars like Christine’s) and prepare to give to friends.
