Layer ingredients into the jar in the order listed: oats, flour, brown sugar, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, peanuts, peanut butter cups. It’s not required, but it helps to have a canning funnel to put the ingredients into the jars. It makes much less confusion. I took a spoon and spread this layer out to get even lines on the jar.
Packaged to give as a gift, complete with recipe and instructions.
To make cookies, combine butter and peanut butter. Add eggs and vanilla.
Take the peanut butter cups out of the jars. Peel off the wrapper and cut in half. Set aside. Pour the remaining contents of the jar. Stir until combined.
Add peanut butter cups and stir again.
Use an ice cream scoop to scoop the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake in an oven preheated to 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes. Let cool for a minute, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
